Yami literally means Darkness in Japanese... So ofcourse they have the same name, what else would they call it lmao, reme,ber Yami himself calls it "Yami mahou" (Darkness Magic) while casting a spell

i know i was kinda a lil bit new to anime when i wrote this but rest assured Over these past Months i have taken my time to watch alot of anime which has educated my feeble mind and thought me the concept of art

yami is japanese for darkness so of course the dark dark fruit (yami yami no mi) and yami (the character) have dark powers.

I wouldn't say you're the only one who realised, but more the only one who assumed that the reason he uses dark magic is because in one piece the darkness fruit is the yami yami no mi which coincidentally shares the same name as the character

In a normal fight Julius would have won, however there are also people he has to protect and he chose to protect rather than beating Licht. Hats off TnT

I swear majority of magic in this show are OP as fuck. Anti-magic, time manipulation, Blood Bending, Yami's dark magic.

I think that's a nice system as it would mean even OP magics can have weakness

This is why I fuckin hate "righteous" villains... Licht and the other Midnight Sun guys are racists/speciesists who, because they were once attacked/betrayed by humans (ALLEGEDLY, honestly we nor he really knows what exactly happened back then, they just ASSUMED immediately the humans they knew were behind it) just projected their vengeful feelings towards humanity as a whole even though they had diddly-squat to do with it. Let alone 100's of years later of course.
If Licht and Julius sat down to have a serious conversation about what is wrong with humanity, the world and the kingdom, I bet they would agree about most of it.

Exactly like yes there are still people who have that kind of mindset that they'er 'royalty' but majority of people are changing and they weren't involved in the eradication of the elves that happened hundreds of years ago so why would you try to get revenge on people who know nothing and have nothing to do with what happened. They think it was the humans cause apparently the humans are the only race that knew about them but how are they sure in getting to know the humans their secret wasn't exposed. Have they ever thought of how the peasants feel because they're in the exact same situation being oppressed by the noble or the royalty. It's selfish and even though I feel their pain it's not and they're going about it in the wrong way.

Cant' really blame them when it was that random humans who wiped out their entire race. That one attack and that one betrayal wiped out their entire race, their family, and even their love ones that they were cherish. Their race were innocent until humans started to massacre them all. Can't really understand their pain because we just sit on sofa and we're not in the same position as them. As much as i want to agree that they shouldn't involve innocent people but it was like, yes your family was massacre and we can just sit quietly because we don't know the culprit there's nothing we can do the past is the past and it was our fate to accept that fact. Even if we get attack or massacre again we have to accept that fact and die by HUMANS because we don't know who. And it was completely b*llsh*t to have that mindset. They once love humans but that exact humans robbed their way of life.

Licht was definitely outclassed by Julius in every way judging both by their abilities and power, Licht literally took advantage of the Wizard King title, yup he had to do that and why is he even seeing entirety of human race as a traitor, not all humans are the same, when he himself wished to see them getting along, he could have just gotten vengeance from the ones who betrayed him. First Zara had to go and now Julius??? NOOOO rip >-<

Well he has some sort of insurance policy which is that mark on his forehead but that was all used up after he died. So he got no more chance if something happend again since he has to recharge that large orb again to make it work but now that he lost most of his magic, its hard to say that he can use it again as he was using that orb to store time when he already was a magic knight captain.

Yes but it seems there are conditions/requirements in order for it to work. Like maybe its limited to superficial injuries only so anything like curse related or total amputation is off the table.

Man julius was such a great character. I loved him man, he was just too good and his death just hit too hard. Licht you won't be getting any sympathy now

Man, always the legendary characters are done dirty by hitting those they want to protect to distract and capitalise on that moment to eliminate them zz..

the strength of the first wizard king is unclassifiable. that dude took out the demon with one spell. i'm 100 percent sure he would have beaten litch half a minute into the battle if they were to fight.
